Our Story
Made in Idaho.
Idaho Spur Company was born out of a simple belief: Details matter and they need to look cool.
"Steel doesn't lie. Neither do we."
— Idaho Spur Company
The Process
01
Steel Selection
We start with domestic 4140 chromoly steel and 17-4 stainless. Materials that will last.
02
Forming & Machining
Each shank is machined from 4140 Chromoly bar stock and checked for perfection down to 0.001 tolerance. Heal bands are formed and tapered to keep weight where it needs to be.
03
Rowel & Hardware
Rowels are cut, filed, and finished from 17-4 stainless steel. Hardware is all stainless.
04
Finish & Inspection
Cerakote, polishing, engraving, or silver inlay — the finish is the last thing we do and the first thing you see. Every pair is inspected before it leaves the shop.
